When one major international provider of biologics CDMO had spore contamination post the COVID-19 lockdown, a solution was needed to regain Environmental Monitoring test standards. This study overviews how Bioquell’s Rapid Bio Decontamination Service was able to provide a solution and give the provider the ability to resume normal operations.

When hospital wards that were once converted to be used for solely COVID-19 purposes are ready to be reverted back to regular wards, a solution was needed to ensure the increased potential environmental contamination risk. This study overview how Bioquell RBDS was able to convert these wards.

When a Singapore-based vertical farming facility, needed a fast and effective alternative to its slow and labour intensive manual cleaning operations during
a crop changeover, it turned to Bioquell and its highly effective Rapid Bio Decontamination Service (RBDS). Bioquell RBDS successfully decontaminated its indoor vertical hydroponic room without interruption to the company’s workflow.
Although Biological Indicators are commonly used as biodecontamination indicators, there are several limitations associated with their use. Bioquell chemical indicators offer a solution to the limitations of BIs and are formulated and calibrated to a defined BI response to Bioquell hydrogen peroxide vapour technology, providing a visible colour change to indicate 6 log kill conditions have been met. With less variability and no wait time for results, Bioquell Room CI is a fast and effective indicator that improves risk management and reduces your operating costs.

When performing automated decontamination cycles using hydrogen peroxide vapour, user safety is of the utmost importance. To ensure this, it is important that any low-level hydrogen peroxide sensor, used to determine the end of a decontamination cycle, is accurate. Doing so also helps optimise cycle time. This paper overviews how Bioquell now have a calibration capability able to expose these sensors to a 1ppm hydrogen peroxide vapour concentration verified accurately using the published OSHA 1019 Method.
